Safecom 3.5" SATA to SATA External Caddy

These caddies turn a standard SATA 3.5" hard drive into a portable storage device that plug's straight into the SATA connection on your PC's motherboard, this one is for the slighlty braver and more technicaly mided. It's not as small as it's 2.5" brethren, but certainly no less impressive, you can still whip out your shiny new caddy on demand, plug it into your SATA PCI card (Having first read and understood the instructions fully on hot SATA swappable devices that came with your motherboard) to a still equally impressed and awe struck gathered crowd. Simply fit the hard drive into the caddy, attach it to a SATA PCI Card and away you go. You dont need any drivers, unless your using Microsoft Windows 98 which are supplied on the CD-ROM in the package. If your fitting a new hard drive into the caddy, you'll need to format it so your operating system can recognise the hard drive and use it. The durable solid alloy caddy enclosure is shock proof so can easily withstand the day to day rigours and knocks of caddy daily life. We must however point out we don't recommend testing this feature to any extreme such as seeing if it can withstand a drop from on top of your desk or from the top of the staitionary cupboard or wardrobe, besides for one thing it wont reach to the top of your desk or wardrobe, that is unless you have a long SATA cable, if you had a long cable and it dropped from said places it could cause damage to your hard drive and your gathered crowd wouldnt be overly impressed because you might have ruined a SATA hard drive.
