ICY BOX 3.5" SATA to SATA HD Caddy

Clever people surround us, and the clever things the clever people invent and make surround us even more, like this Icy Box 3.5” SATA hard drive caddy. I got to thinking if one of those clever people was sat at his desk, spotted an empty SATA connector and thought they didn’t have enough things to plug into their PC and decided to invent a SATA caddy to plug straight into it. Plus as an afterthought they also decided that some sort of back plate would be a wise idea because maybe it wasn’t such a great idea to plug it straight onto the motherboard, thus the PCI SATA card was born. Now I’m not saying this is fact, merely my theory about how things are invented. Having such a highly developed technological device should have people standing back in awe causing a gathering which may need Police support in case of unruly behaviour from jealous crowds. All you need to do is fit either your Hard Drive into the caddy, screw it securely, and close the caddy. Plug into a either a SATA back plate (which in turn connects to your motherboard) or a PIC SATA card and format if it’s a new Hard Drive. It comes with its own power supply and relevant cables. What could be easier than that?
