That aside, it will take 3.5” IDE a hard drives allowing you to turn a vibrant caddy into an external IDE storage device. All you need to do is fit either your Hard Drive into the caddy, screw it securely, and close the caddy. Plug into USB port and format if it’s a new Hard Drive. It comes with its own power supply and relevant cables plugs straight into a spare USB or Firewire connection. What could be easier than that?
