Icy Box 2.5" SATA Caddy with docking station is a hybrid caddy. It can be used on its own as a USB & e-SATA 2.5" Caddy for SATA hard drives or using the 3.5" docking station (which fits in nicely where a floppy drive normally lives) make it into an internal removable caddy. If you do use it as an internal caddy, you need to make sure that you have a spare SATA connection on your motherboard. If you don't you could add a PCI SATA card which will then give you the much needed SATA port you need to run this as an internal caddy.
