ICY BOX IB-250U 2.5" USB2.0 HD Caddy. This Icy Box USB2.0 Hard Drive caddy is super slim. All you need to do is fit your 2.5” Hard Drive into the caddy, screw it securely into the caddy, and close the caddy. Plug into a USB and format if it’s a new Hard Drive. As well as it being so small it doesn’t need any external power sources; it draws power from a USB port. It uses either USB two cables one for data transfer and the other for power, or 1 Firewire for data and 1 USB for power, if you want to plug the caddy into an external USB hub we suggest using one with it’s own power supply. An unpowered USB hub may cause power issues with the PC. You can always of course just plug it into a USB connection on your PC and it will work no problems.
