The Brother DCP157Cinkjet offers printing, copying and scanning all in one unit.
The printer is ideal for the home including those working from home. An easy to use control panel offers direct access to all the functions. The print resolution of 1200 x 6000 dpi guarantees a high quality of print for black and white, full colour, simple text or complex graphic images.

Most other devices have their ink cartridges fitted to a moving print head, but the DCP 157C ink tanks fitted to the actual body of the machine. Thus ink is transferred from the ink tanks to the moving print head via a tube system, which Brother calls Capillary Tube Technology. The main reason for implementing this system is to keep the print head's weight to a minimum, which in turn reduces noise and vibration caused by the side-to-side motion of the print head.

The Brother DCP-157C uses the following ink: cartridges LC-970BK Black, LC-970C Cyan, LC-970M Magenta, LC-970Y Yellow Original ink cartridge's.
